Our 6th graders left in the middle of the night last night and have arrived at Catalina Island in California.
There were some magical moments on the ferry over to the island – dolphins played with the boat, sea lions floated by, and there were some swells that some students enjoyed very much. The Pointe students have been demonstrating excellent behavior, especially in staying with their counselors and group.
While some kids got seasick, they are all fine now and taking their first snorkeling lesson. After dinner, the kids get to try their hand at rock wall climbing.
Tomorrow is a jam packed day with both in class lessons and lessons out in nature!
