Canyon Pointe Academy Honors Veterans

Canyon Pointe Academy students and staff honored veterans today in a special Veteran’s Day assembly. Students in Kindergarten through 6th grade recognized these brave men and women through songs and sign language. Additionally, we created a “wall” featuring family and friends of Canyon Pointe that have helped defend our country.

Canyon’s annual Veteran’s Day assembly is tomorrow, 11/10, at 9:30 am. Classes will be performing songs, chants and poems to honor our Veteran’s. We also have an incredible ‘Wall of Honor’ where we are showcasing pictures of Canyon family Veteran’s. This is a very special event and we would love to have you join us.

6th graders followed the Yellow Brick Road…. To the Prep!

On Friday, 11/4, the 6th grade classes from Pinnacle and Canyon followed the Yellow Brick Road to the Prep to watch the Junior High’s production of the Wizard of Oz!  This matinee allowed our sixth graders to witness just one of the incredible opportunities, like theatre, offered at North Pointe Prep!

Canyon’s “Island of Lost Things” is OVERFLOWING with jackets, water bottles, lunch sacks and miscellaneous items. All items will be placed on the outside tables this week for students, parents and guardians to check for items that belong to them. Anything left after next Thursday, 11/10 will be donated to Goodwill.

Canyon Cares

This week, PinnacleTV and CanyonTV crew members took a special trip to deliver the blankets donated during Community Week. All the blankets were provided to HALO Animal Rescue to benefit the dogs and cats in need. Check out the Morning Shows for an in-depth look at the community facility and critters benefitting from those blankets! Thank you all for your kind donations.
